Adhesive & Sealants

Baryte (Barytes)

Barytes are inert functional fillers that provide excellent UV barrier properties, enhance weather resistance, and increase the density of adhesive and sealant formulations. They are widely used in automotive sealants, where they also contribute as sound and radiation-absorbing fillers, improving overall performance. Precipitated barium sulphate is especially suitable for two-component putty sealers, offering superior oil absorption, improved curing behavior, and higher final product density. Our natural baryte range is available from 45µ to 5µ, delivering high specific gravity and consistent performance, making it ideal for use in sealants, automotive coatings, and adhesive applications.
